How to use
How to use
1, In a kadhai, heat 2 tsp oil. Add 1 tsp of mustard, fenugreek, and cumin seeds each. Add a pinch of asafoetida.
2. Add 10-12 curry leaves, 2-3 red chillies (broken), and crushed garlic (optional). Sauté and stir in 2 tbsp Elai Platter Rasam Powder.
3. Add puree of 4 boiled tomatoes and 1.5 cups tamarind pulp. Adjust consistency with water and add salt to taste.
4. Top with hand-torn coriander leaves (along with the stems) for extra flavour. Bring to a rolling boil until the rasam froths. Do not over-boil.
5.Tip: Add toor dal stock for added richness.
